IRA Contribution Limits for 2016 – 2017

The total contributions to all of your traditional and Roth IRA’s cannot be more than:

• $5,500 ($6,500 if you are age 50 or older), or
• Your taxable compensation for the year if your compensation was less than this dollar limit.

Please keep in mind that you can no longer make regular contributions to a traditional IRA in the year you reach 70 ½ and older. You can still make contributions to your Roth IRA regardless of your age. The deadline to contribute to your IRA is the tax filing deadline, not including extensions.

Please consult your tax advisor on all the above information.
