FAQ

My neighbor's tax return fee was $350, why is my fee $650?

A - Every single tax return is different. Our fees are based on the content of your own personal tax return. You may have 4 rental properties and a self-employed business and your neighbor may have a couple of W-2's and some itemized deductions. It will take us much longer to prepare your tax return than your neighbor's so that is what our fees are based on.

I filed my tax return a couple weeks ago, what is the status of my refund because I have not received it yet?

You can track the status of your refund directly off of the IRS website, www.irs.gov/refunds.

Do I have to set up an appointment to get my taxes done?

No you do not have to set up a face to face appointment. You can drop off your tax information in person, email it to us, or mail it to us.

Do you have anyone on staff that can help me get my business financial records in order?

Yes, we assist our clients with getting their Quickbooks/records in order as needed and tailor this service based on your individual needs.

Can my invoice fee be deducted from my refund?

Unfortunately, no, we cannot deduct our fee from your refund. Payment is due before we can electronically file the return.

What do I need to bring in for an appt?

If you are a new client requiring preparation of tax returns or coming in for a consult for possible future tax preparation, please bring a copy of your last filed return in with you, along with the appropriate paperwork for the current year, ie: W-2's, 1099's, total of charitable contributions, a HUD statement if you've recently purchased a home. (If you are able, please send us your info 1-2 weeks prior to your scheduled appt. so the accountant may input your information into our system and will have an idea of your tax situation when meeting with you)

Are you open on Sundays?

When can I expect to receive my tax organizer?

We will be sending out our tax organizers within the first two weeks of January.

When is my payment for individual tax preparation due?
